Most carburetor tuning includes setting idle, base timing and ignition curve optimization, jetting and accel enrichment tuning. Contrary to fuel injection tuning, most carbureted setups are optimized on the street and adjusted and verified on the chassis dyno. Proper tuning requires a tunable distributor for optimum results.
